The main whim is achieved by the way that the narrator walks through the tend aspiration or remembering the delirium she used to feel when she was with her fan. The rime starts in a garden affirmdrop and that conveys a calm distinction. past it shifts to a worthy tone in the rest of the poem. The strategies the reason uses to achieve his main root word and tone are her imagination and repetition. The imagery of the girl cliped in a garment contri barelyes to the main idea because it shows how she ideate of marrying the love of her life. The repetition of the idiom “Up and down” and “In my nightie” relate to the twain the desirable and calm tone, because the enunciate portrays some phase of ease and the desire of expiration back in time to relive her most precious moments.

Amy Lowell’s desirable tone paints the video of what a typical women dreams of with examples like, “I would drive To lead him in a maze for my heavy-booted lover”(lines 49-50) and “In a month he would have been my maintain”(line 84). This poem talks round a women that walks in a garden path with a “brocade gown”, opinion of her lover. or so of the thing she thinks are memories or dreams she had. The gown she is wearing is probably a wedding dress and that implies that she was going to take up marital but her boyfriend died in the combat field. She shows some kind of lust of her boyfriend’s passion. She wanted to feel love and craved . At the end of the poem it is inferred that she will catch ones breathing space a virgin because in that respect will not be any man that could knock back the man she loved.
